Position Summary:
Produces, and amends digital files to prepare the files for printed materials by reviewing job specifications; setting-up, operating, adjusting, controlling, and maintaining digital printing equipment.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
• Process multiple production job orders daily and plan jobs for most efficient production run to meet deadlines
• Coordinate and manage job orders and project assignments from preflight to delivery while reviewing job submission and spec requirements, requisitioning materials, and following department guidelines
• Work closely with graphic artists and department leaders to obtain necessary approvals to ensure high quality and legal compliance
• Ensures press operation by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories, and evaluating new equipment and techniques
• Perform printer maintenance, including substrate loading, ink loading, and cleaning
• Manage approved jobs through to completion, working with the chosen vendor to deliver the project on time and to a high standard
• Enter job orders in management information system and create shipping labels
• Maintain all appropriate paperwork and backup for invoicing purposes
• Other projects or duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment with tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality of print production orders
• Ability to follow department standard operating procedures and take direction from department leaders
• Positive, professional demeanor, with excellent reliability and communication skills
• Ability to effectively work independently, as well as a team contributor
• This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.About the company
