What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Notify insurance companies of services being rendered and obtain necessary authorizations
- Verify patients' insurance coverage and gather additional demographic and billing information
- Identify authorization issues and ensure accurate insurance information is obtained
- Work daily queues to meet payer-specific authorization requirements and productivity standards
- Provide quality customer service to patients and customers through professional communication

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare pre-authorizations
- Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, problem solver, and team player
- Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Continuing education in healthcare-related field
