What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor delinquent accounts and perform collection duties to ensure timely payments
- Review and resolve billing issues and discrepancies with accuracy
- Contact patients to secure past due balances and verify demographic and insurance information
- Answer patient inquiries regarding payments, billing, and insurance, resolving any complaints
- Maintain compliance with confidentiality and HIPAA laws while handling patient records

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- Minimum of two (2) years of combined medical billing and payment experience
- Knowledge of state, federal, and third-party claims processing is essential
- Familiarity with state and federal collections guidelines
- Must complete required e-learning courses within 90 days of starting the position
