      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Initiate and promote a culture of privacy and data security compliance within the employer
      - Provide guidance on HIPAA Privacy and Security rules and other applicable healthcare privacy laws
      - Assist in developing and maintaining safeguards for personally identifiable data
      - Collaborate with leadership on privacy and security training modules and compliance monitoring
      - Support investigations of privacy and security incidents and conduct risk assessments

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum of five years of general healthcare privacy and security compliance experience
      - Demonstrated knowledge of HIPAA Privacy, HIPAA Security, and applicable state Privacy statutes
      - Working knowledge of medical group operation processes
      - Experience in regulatory research and knowledge of federal and state healthcare privacy and security requirements
      - Ability to detect deficiencies in processes and determine needs for improvement

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience as a HIPAA Privacy Officer or Security Officer
      - Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC) or other relevant certifications
