What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a subject matter expert for information privacy and security policies and regulations
- Provide program support for privacy and security policy guidance, risk identification, assessment, and management
- Track and monitor privacy program risks, developing strategies for mitigation
- Assist leadership in improving policies and processes and providing best practice guidance
- Deliver effective training and outreach activities in line with the Privacy program’s training plan

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of five years of combined experience in healthcare privacy or compliance, with at least 2 years in information privacy and security
- Experience working with sensitive and confidential information
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations related to information privacy and security, including HIPAA compliance

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certification in compliance-related field or willingness to obtain certification within 12 months
- Experience with Epic and/or other clinical applications
- Proven knowledge of formal information security and privacy standards
