Job Description
- Req#: 1872
- Work with the Head of Global Fund Finance to design and implement financial and operational best practices for private credit funds and business development companies (BDCs) in order to support the growth and evolution of the platform
- Own and coordinate the financial reporting production calendar to meet corporate and investor deadlines and identify ways to further streamline the third party accounting agents
- Oversee the preparation of the private credit fund and BDC financial statements, including quarterly financial statements (10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks), capital account statements, marketing letters, performance reporting, capital calls, and distribution notices
- Perform management and incentive calculations, expense accruals, budgeting and forecasting
- Work closely with our private credit team to develop new investment products with a particular focus on the firm’s operating platform to support these investments
- Work closely with private credit teams to understand new and complex investments
- Work closely with third party vendor partners including accounting agents and pricing vendors, facility providers, etc.
- Assist with the fair valuation process working closely with private credit teams to develop fair value pricing models and ensure proper model calibrations
- Effectively liaise with other investment professionals, legal and compliance, business development, and operations to ensure proper controls are in place to support current and future business
- Serves as the key point of contact for auditors and tax accountants
- Assist to generate and coordinate other corporate deliverables such as forecasts and management reporting
- Present to the firm’s Pricing & Valuation Council, Audit Committees and Boards of Directors on accounting and/or valuation matters
- BDC accounting experience essential
- 8-15+ years of Private Credit or Private Equity experience
- Bachelor's degree
- CPA required
- Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred
- Ability to multitask

Compensation Information: Annual base salary for this role is $200,000 - $250,000. Salary is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.
Discretionary Bonus: Role may be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus. Discretionary bonuses are determined by several factors including, but not limited to, firm, team, and individual performance.
