What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide physical therapy treatments to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Record treatments administered and maintain clinical documentation according to regulatory and professional guidelines
- Participate in weekly case conferences and interdisciplinary communication to optimize patient care
- Provide verbal or written patient status updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Ensure patient safety and comply with state regulations and national standards in physical therapy practice
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Physical Therapy Assistant, licensed per state requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Home Health preferred
- Strong communication, assessment, and clinical documentation skills
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language
- Reliable transportation and valid auto liability insurance
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with diverse patient populations in a home health setting
- Additional certifications related to physical therapy or patient care
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
