What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct initial clinical assessments and continued stay assessments to determine medical necessity for hospitalized patients
- Collaborate with physicians to obtain additional documentation supporting hospital admissions and care
- Document all actions and activities in the case management software system
- Review concurrent denials and assist in coordinating Peer to Peer discussions with physicians
- Communicate effectively with the UR Coordinator and facility case managers to manage patient care

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Required Education: Associates Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 3 years previous nursing experience
- Required License/Registration/Certification: Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Registered Nurse
- Data entry skills and demonstrable skills with Google Docs, Google Sheets, and email applications
- Ability to analyze written data and figures with visual acuity

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or higher
- More than 3 years of Utilization Review experience
- ACM or CCM Certification
