Your Role: Process Improvement Engineer Intern

As a Process Improvement Engineer Intern, you will be part of Process Engineering team to deliver a practical solution to a manufacturing equipment related issue. As an engineer intern at Elanco, you will work in a complex vaccine manufacturing plant with the opportunity to observe multiple disciplines of engineering. Interns will work on critical projects needed for implementation of process improvements and reliable equipment.

Your Responsibilities:

• Understand the process reliability
• Work within cross-functional teams to implement a process improvement
• Provide recommendations on equipment operation efficiencies and equipment reliability

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):

• Education: Currently enrolled in a Chemical or Mechanical Engineering discipline
• Microsoft Suite experience
• A mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):

• Have an interest in process improvement, vaccine manufacturing, problem solving or cross-functional skill development
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Must be able to work exceptionally well independently and with minimal supervision

• Internship Dates: May 20th – August 9th (12 Weeks)
• Competitive salary: $19-$37/hour (dependent upon major and year in school)
