      Job Description:

      An opportunity for a Procurement Contracts Manager (W/M) within Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe or Seville has arisen. The selected candidate will join the Procurement Contracts Department in charge
      of suppliers’ contracts for Military Aircraft and UAVs.

      This team is in charge of the suppliers’ contracts in the field of military aircraft as well as drones. The selected candidates will support the internal customer from the RFP phase up to the contracts signature.
      The selected candidate will be part of a transnational and dynamic team and will work on high visibility projects such as MRTT, C295, A400M, FCAS or KC-Y.

      The selected candidate will have an important role to play in:
      ● Identifying and minimizing Airbus’s contractual risks exposure for procurement contracts entered into in his/her field of activity.
      ● Setting up agreements according to Company’s Bid Campaigns, Project/Programme & Procurement requirements.
      ● Identifying key contractual content for top management review/validation.
      ● Explaining issues, preventing litigation, ensuring uninterrupted business operations.
      ● Enabling the supported roles / functions to achieve their objectives.

      Purpose of the position:
      - Ensure the implementation of the procurement contractual policy and associated procurement contractual terms and conditions taking into account the inputs/outputs provided by therelevant Commodity management, Project/Programme, Commercial & Contracts as well as by functions/specialists including Legal, Finance, Tax, Insurance, Export Control, Compliance, as well as key multi-function team stakeholders.
      - Carry out alongside the Commodity Manager the negotiation and management post-signature of the procurement agreements through direct involvement and/or back office support.
      - Deliver argumentation and act as an escalation path for the commodity managers for complex negotiations.
      - Ensure the relevance, the quality/integrity and consistency of the contracts entered into by Procurement function.

      RESPONSIBILITIES


      The jobholder will be responsible for:
      - Ensuring implementation of the Airbus Defence & Space procurement contractual policy and ensure its implementation and associated contractual Terms & Conditions, whilst taking into account conditions provided by the Commodities, the Project/Programme team, Commercial & Contracts as well as Legal, Finance, Insurance, Export Control and other specialists department, as well as applicable laws & regulations.

      - Preparing and participate in negotiations; contract drafting and negotiations of contractstogether with the procurement commodity managers (all types of contracts, from non-disclosure agreements, collaboration agreements, procurement of goods, services etc.) to secure Procurement and Sales Campaigns objectives and targets whilst adhering to governance & policies.
      - Managing contracts in place: preparation, drafting and negotiation of e.g. complex contract amendments and settlement agreements during the life cycle of the contract together with Procurement Commodity Buyers; Contractual analysis of agreements and advice in case of disagreements / potential forthcoming disputes between Company and suppliers concerning existing procurement contracts
      - Co-drafting & Signing of the contract validation form which shall highlight the key elements of the contract to enable efficient decision making (including executive summary, main deviations, risks and opportunities of the contract).
      - Advising internal stakeholders on contractual implications of internal (improvement) projects (e.g. confidentiality or intellectual property aspects).

      Education: Master degree in Business or contracts law;
      Experience: Minimum of 5 years in contracts negotiations, ideally with knowledge of defence area;
      Languages: Fluent in Spanish and English(negotiation level) – any other languages is a plus;
      Soft skills: adaptability to work on new topics, solution oriented, pragmatic.
