- An equivalent combination of education and demonstrated experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 5 years of related work experience in supply chain operations including 3 years of demonstrated leadership experience
- 7 years of related work experience in supply chain operations
- 5 years demonstrated supervisory experience
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record based on driving requirements for the position
- Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP), Certified Purchasing Professional Manager (CPPM), Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) Certificates, or Certified Contract Manager (CCM or IACCM) Certificate

Idaho Power — headquartered in Boise, Idaho — is looking for a Procurement Leader to join our Supply Chain team. It’s an exciting time to work for Idaho Power. This position is focused on managing the contracting side of procurement. The role is based at Idaho Power’s downtown Boise location and offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work up to 40% remote.
What does a Procurement Leader do for us?
The Procurement Leader is part of the Supply Chain management team. The successful candidate will oversee a team of seven contracting agents, ensuring that their negotiating and supplier management activities achieve company goals. This leader will need to develop strong business and supplier relationships and support best-value and least-cost objectives.
This leader reports to the Procurement Strategy Manager, and together they set goals and objectives for the larger Procurement team, ensuring a collaborative working environment, identifying problems, and developing solutions, and providing project guidance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires working at a desk/computer for extended periods of time. It requires the use of office equipment, fine motor skills including typing on the computer, dialing phones, filing paper, and working in close proximity to other people.
