Ownership of selected spend and commercial relationships within Professional Services and other Indirect categories, with responsibility for the category planning process and strategic sourcing of key supplier contracts in alignment with business requirements.
Leading BAU procurement activity such as supplier sourcing, negotiation, drafting contracts and business improvement plans to deliver against targeted KPIs and other OneDentsu objectives.
Supporting the business with contract and performance management, supplier relationship management (SRM) techniques and contributing to dentsu’s award-winning sustainability agenda.
Building and managing interdepartmental project teams to meet functional and individual targets, while actively identifying, prioritising and mitigating risks and issues for all procurement activities.
Compiling and presenting in-depth, accurate and insightful reporting to senior stakeholders and executive management.
Running RFX and competitive sourcing exercises for high-value, high-risk projects (with and without e-sourcing tools); implementing global rate cards where possible and incorporating requirements from Legal and Data Privacy, Security Assurance, Vendor Due Diligence, and other internal SME teams as needed.
Experience of owning end-to-end Procurement at a large global, matrixed organisation, and specifically to have a proven track record in managing multiple indirect categories.
Can evidence strong negotiation skills, implementing complex contracts and conducting SRM initiatives with a range of vendors (with a focus on Professional Services, SaaS, Finance and HR).
Preferable to be working towards, or be CIPS / MCIPS qualified, or have undergone training in contract law.
Strong understanding of financial reporting and modelling principles and capable of extracting and rationalising large spend data sets for subsequent presentation.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills – both verbal and written, and ability to influence stakeholders up to C-Level.
This is a permanent role.
The team is based in our London office but operates under flexible working arrangements. The official guide is that team members will attend the office 1-2 times per week, however this will ultimately depend on project and individual category requirements.
