      Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours 8:30-17:00

      Contract Type: Permanent

      Criminal Record Check: DBS Basic

      What is the role?

      To drive our procurement strategy across SFC Group.

      To lead procurement negotiations and agreeing service levels and contracts with suppliers, whilst overseeing all procurement activities and processing.

      Meeting with budget holders and department heads to understand the needs across the company to ensure a smooth procurement process.

      In doing this you will ensure that we have the best value and practices in all our procurement activities.

      What will you be doing?

      You will oversee the day to day procure to pay processes (P2P) and oversee all Purchase Orders within the Group.

      Managing core procurement policies, processes, databases, and toolkits.

      Effectively coach and co-ordinate internal stakeholders who are team buyers for their departments ensuring that our policies are complied with.

      Management of tender processes on our system (Workday) for the Group.

      Proactively offering support to build trusted relationships, along with the ability to collaboratively work across departments and expenditure types to provide solutions and options for business leaders.

      Is this you?

      We are looking for someone who is a member of Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (MCIPS), has great Excel skills and experience of Workday financials and Workday Strategic Sourcing (desirable).

      In addition to the technical skills, we are looking for someone who can juggle multiple tasks at once and able to work within a high demand, fast-paced environment whilst being approachable, assisting stakeholders with their enquiries and building strong working relationships with internal and external parties.

      Desirable Experience & Skills:

      • Working knowledge of Workday financials and Workday Strategic Sourcing.

      • Excellent analytical and logical thinking.

      • Strong organisation skills and ability to work to deadlines.

      • Articulate & an ability to communicate in an engaging manner.

      • Approachable and professional manner.

      • Outstanding negotiation and influencing skills at all levels.
