As a Product Copywriter, you will be responsible for creating product and technical content across our global brands: Fisher & Paykel, DCS, and Haier. You will collaborate closely with the Brand and Product Management teams to craft engaging and technically accurate copy that helps introduce new products to our consumers.

Reporting to the Chief Designer , you will:

• Create engaging and effective product copy for our websites, point of sale, retailer channels and planning guides
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, legal, and designers to ensure that the content is accurate and meets customer needs
• Adopt a 'big picture' approach across all products and brands, to enhance storytelling, ensure consistency, and drive sales
• Research and deeply understand the technical details of our products and translate them into understandable consumer-facing copy
• Write both short and long form product copy, adhering to strict character counts and frameworks
• Be a guardian of our brand and product messaging, and develop and maintain conventions and tone of voice guidelines
• Apply design studio procedures, processes, and tools to ensure content is delivered on time
• Collaborate with other copywriters and the wider business to peer review, edit, and contribute as the product expert

What we are looking for

• A copywriter with technical writing and brand content experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to check complex and detailed copy for consistency and accuracy
• Knowledge of technical writing best practices and ability to translate technical information into user-friendly copy
• Ability to adapt writing style and tone to suit our different brands and audiences
• Great stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills – being proactive to get the job done
• Ability to incorporate feedback from various stakeholders
• Strong research skills
• An understanding of marketing and digital content for luxury global brands
• Motivation to take ownership of product knowledge within the wider brand team
