Product Designer—Brand Experience
Our client's Companies Experience Design Team, within the Online Division, is looking for a Product Designer who will provide best-in-class, accessible, and engaging user experiences for one of our brand e-commerce sites. The Product Designer will also create UI assets and propose UX recommendations to help optimize sales conversions for our global sites. The ideal candidate has a passion for design, great attention to detail, understands how to take direction & turn it into execution, and can handle multiple projects, quick turnarounds, and is interested in leveraging data-driven opportunities to ensure success across our e-commerce properties.Essential Responsibilities
· Build strong relationships and operating rhythms with leaders inside and outside their core team to efficiently implement user experiences that are cohesive, inclusive, and well-informed by data.
· A practitioner of universal design principles, design with accessibility guidelines in mind, and advocate across global product and with the brand creative and business teams.
· Collaborate on the global experience design with a focus on ecommerce core experience with designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers, by understanding business needs and product requirements.
· Translate user needs and product requirements into conceptual diagrams, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mocks.
· Develop sound UX concepts, including the definition of customer needs, task analysis, the creation of scenarios and use cases.
· Deliver effective documentation and communication of design – via clear visual presentation and detailed annotation.
Qualifications
· Bachelor degree in Digital Design, UX Design, HCI, or related fields.
· 3+ years of experience in UX, UI design for e-commerce websites
· Online portfolio to showcase your ability to solve complex problems is a must.
· Familiar using Jira and Confluence, able to prioritize and manage work in a fast-paced environment.
· Able to play well and thrives in collaboration with our partners and stakeholders.
· Mastery using design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
· Has a "no task is too small" mentality.
· Familiar with setting up usability testing as well as delivering research insights.
· Clear understanding of WCAG 2.1 requirements and industry best practices around accessibility/inclusive design is a plus.
· Experience with ecommerce and social platforms in the beauty or luxury industry (plus)
· Experience working with research, testing and data/KPI to drive data-driven decisions
· Familiar with building and maintaining digital design systems
