      Hourly base pay rate is $21.06 - $31.63/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

      Job Description

      We are hiring a Product Management Intern to join our Digital Operations team with a focus on better understanding customer and agent behavior to help the team define platform strategies and roadmaps. We are looking for someone who has an extremely data-driven mindset and is able to mix business knowledge with analytics tools to deeply understand, model and report on business trends. You will work closely with the talented Product, Care, Marketing, Analytics COE, Technology and Operations teams to improve our product impact.

      In this role, you will provide continuous and visible leadership for current product performance and insights gleaned from customer and system data sets. The manager is accountable for and serves as an authority on all operational reporting and advanced analytics for the Digital product portfolio through the entire lifecycle. This includes platform and feature valuation, metric definition, process optimization, and analytics roadmap definition. This individual must model passion and drive for change and/or enhancements to satisfy customer needs and optimize customer experience through innovative data analysis and/or improvements to processes and technology. The resource must be able to make recommendations on resources to address/balance customer experience optimization needs, operate with considerable latitude for independent judgment, and negotiates issues with peers and 1st level Mgmt. to synthesize ideas and solutions that impact operational results.

      Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions

      • Analyze customer, business and product performance metrics and interpret underlying drivers to translate into data-based recommendations.
      • Define projected value of potential platform capabilities to be delivered in support of platform prioritization and establishing baseline targets in collaboration with business partners.
      • Research and evaluate product performance to prioritize product improvements that optimize customer experience and strengthen financials.
      • Identify and track key (key performance indicators) KPI’s that measure the value of Digital product platforms.
      • Partner with cross-functional teams to establish a consistent, data-driven story on platform performance.
      • Design and drive longer-term projects, such as implementing new processes or creating new tools to enhance the efficiency of team.
      • Developing as leader with respect to, business insights, team interactions, and product management.
      • Collaborate with operations leaders across business units for consistent definition of metrics and the interpretation of underlying data sets.

      Intern/Co-Op sessions are considered temporary employment. No full-time employment commitments are made. However, depending on our business needs, some interns may be considered for a full-time position following the conclusion of the session conditioned upon the intern graduating from their academic program and being available to commence full-time employment at a specified time.
