What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide market, industry, and competitive expertise to drive product positioning and development
- Support marketing collateral development and new product launches
- Assist sales personnel with promotions and the creation of customer training materials
- Serve as a liaison between various departments to ensure cohesive product strategies
- Track product performance and maintain awareness of industry trends and innovations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Typically requires a BS/BA in a related discipline
- Generally 5-8 years of experience in a related field; or MS/MA with 3-5 years of experience
- Certification may be required in some areas
- Strong problem-solving skills to address complex situations
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Business
- Five years of B2B product management or sales experience in industrial distribution and/or contractor supply
- Proven experience managing relationships with external business partners
- Previous experience in developing marketing collateral and product offerings with cross-functional teams
- Experience researching and launching new product lines or services
