AMETEK Telular is seeking a Product Manager to analyze industry and customer trends, develop deep market understanding and create a portfolio of products, services and solutions to meet the needs of customers. The role will establish relationships with both external suppliers and internal parties by working collaboratively to deploy creative and industry solutions.

In this role, you will:

• Manage and drive a product’s roadmap from all phases of its lifecycle, including concept and ROI development through product launch and end of life planning.
• Specify market requirements for products by conducting market research supported by continuous market contacts.
• Collaborate with a cross functional core team that is charged with both increasing the profitability of existing solutions and developing new solutions for the marketplace.
• Conduct benefit analysis, risk analysis, assess opportunity costs as well as analyze make / buy decision criteria.
• Conduct market, situational, competitive and trend analysis
• Oversee the development and execution of all customer training tools that complement the new products and features.

To be considered for the role, you will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business is required; MBA or master’s degree in relevant technical fields is preferred.
• Strong communications skills (written and oral) with ability to communicate at all business levels and functions. Comfort with presentations to the C-Level.
• 5+ years of technical product management experience including a mix of electronics and web applications product environments.
• Knowledge in remote monitoring technology, SaaS solutions and development practices; recent experience with SaaS solutions is preferred.
• Knowledge in cellular, satellite and/or other wireless technologies experience required.
• Competency in product management of hardware products a must. Experience in developing products for the commercial telematics industry is a plus.
