      Product management (PM) is an exciting function of product development. Product managers oversee a product, or parts of a product. They're tasked with determining what features the product development team should build, working with the user experience for the overall user experience, and delivering the product to market, working with the marketing, field engineers, sales, and partner teams.

      As a product manager intern working on our Cloud Integration and iPaaS PM teams, you will gain valuable experience in the fast-paced world of enterprise cloud data management and integration solutions. You'll play a crucial role in helping us build world class cloud products and services. In this role, you will do an end-to-end study of Informatica and competitor integration cloud services and share your findings with product management leaders. This includes, but is not limited to product capabilities, user experience, pricing, marketing content, and such. You will be hands-on with these products, building use cases that our customers care about. The ideal candidate has a BS or MS degree in Computer Science and/or Business Administration and an academic or hands-on understanding of programming languages, machine learning, databases, analytic systems, and application stacks.

      Day-to-day Duties :

      • Conduct study of Informatica and offerings and evaluate them based on user experience, functionality, pricing, positioning, etc.
      • Working closely with the product management team to review the findings.
      • Documenting your findings and converting them to product requirements
      • Analyzing usage data and meta data and identifying patterns to support your thesis.
      • Building product demos and examples that support your findings.

      Key Essentials:

      • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and logically.
      • The ability to gather and interpret data to drive decision-making.
      • Comfortable with complex technology and able to demonstrate its value to diverse enterprise customers.
      • Some development experience.
      • Excellent grades in university, especially on topics related to math, statistics, design thinking, computer science, decision systems, artificial intelligence, and/or robotics.
      • Based in the Bay Area, and available to work on-site at our office location.
