      Product Manager

      Position Summary:

      As Product Manager, you champion your product(s) through a robust lifecycle. You’re in touch with customers, on top of market trends, and ahead of the curve when forming strategies to develop and enhance products in your care. You define business requirements, design user experiences and set expectations of quality in product results. You monitor, guide and cajole progress from the engineering team, you train and support the technical implementation and support staff, and you motivate and inform the sales and marketing teams to ensure your product shines in the spotlight. You listen to feedback from clients (internal and external) to improve the ROI of your product(s), and you report on bottom-line success.

      Job Responsibilities:

      • Gather input from stakeholders, including customers, internal users, market and competitive research, to define product strategy and requirements.
      • Define business strategy for products, recommend pricing strategies and prepare product business plans that include ROI projections and short / long term product roadmaps.
      • Document detailed requirements for product features and enhancements, including working with key accounts to define custom requirements and coordinate these projects.
      • Work closely with engineering teams to prioritize tasks and set release schedules.
      • Participate in QA and acceptance testing of product features and releases.
      • Coordinate training and documentation efforts for internal sales and technical staff.
      • Act as a liaison between internal staff and engineering for troubleshooting escalated product issues.
      • Coordinate with marketing for product launches and promotions.

      • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills, unwilling to give up on solving difficult technical problems and then making sure they don’t have to recur.
      • A strong business sense, customer focused and a sales-oriented leader who pushes hard to make sure products are successful.
      • A strong communicator - via writing, visuals, video, and in person, who can use multiple tools to teach, excite and unify around the product strategy.
      • A strong sense of ownership and self reliance in making projects successful, exhibits a drive for results.
