      Are you a product manager with a deep understanding of the challenges and information needs of today's doctors? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of how doctors access and utilize critical information.       What You'll Achieve:

      • Within the first 90 days, you will enable data-driven product decisions by conducting a comprehensive analysis of MedPage Today. You will develop an understanding of MedPage Today's existing product offerings, the target audience (doctors across specialties), editorial workflows, and technological infrastructure, identifying key findings and opportunities.

      • Within the first 6 months , you will collaborate with the design, editorial, and development teams to review MedPage Today's core article templates and CMS workflows. You will propose at least three specific, data-backed enhancements to core features, designed to increase user engagement.

      • Within the first year, you will lead the development and launch of a new casual game within MedPage Today's Break Room section, designed to provide a relaxing experience for doctors and contribute to user retention.


      Key Responsibilities (What You'll Do):

      • Champion the Physician User: Deeply understand the workflow, information needs, pain points, and consumption habits of physicians across various specialties. This includes direct user interaction, data analysis, and monitoring industry trends.

      • Partner with Editorial: Collaborate closely with the editorial team to ensure product initiatives align with and enhance their content strategy. Foster a strong partnership to deliver integrated, valuable experiences for physicians.

      • Define and Drive Product Vision: Lead the product development lifecycle from ideation and market research to launch, iteration, and growth. Own the product roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on user needs, market opportunities, and business goals.

      • Translate Needs into Actionable Plans: Create clear product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Develop and maintain detailed business and functional requirements, high-level wireframes, and prototypes.

      • Collaborate for Success: Work closely with cross-functional teams (editorial, technology, design, sales, marketing, business intelligence, and project management) to ensure seamless product development and execution. Act as the key liaison between editorial vision and technical implementation.

      • Measure and Optimize: Continuously monitor and analyze product performance, using data to identify areas for improvement and inform future development decisions. Evaluate and communicate the success of product initiatives.

      Qualifications (Who You Are):

      • 3+ years of product management experience in online media, online content publishing, or a related digital field.

      • Proven track record of building and launching successful consumer-focused products.

      • Strong understanding of content management systems (CMS).

      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to clearly convey requirements and justify product decisions.

      • Experience in the healthcare and/or physician space is a strong plus.

      • Experience with growth tactics to drive registration and newsletter uptake a key plus

      Note: The salary compensation for this role is $100,000 to $120,000. Individual pay within the compensation range for this business unit specific role is determined based on a variety of factors including experience, scope of the role, capabilities to perform the role, education and training, as well as business and company performance.
