We are looking for a hands-on Product Owner to execute the digital strategy for Stolt Tankers. You pose strong learning and excellent communications skills to join our Business Technology & Innovation team.

Stolt Tankers a division of Stolt-Nielsen Limited (SNL), is the specialist in transporting bulk liquids: Chemicals, clean petroleum, gases, vegetable oils, biofuels and oleochemicals.

What you will be doing
You will be working in a customer facing role and you are responsible for building and delivering digital products. These products are built to transform the way we work in our commercial teams (sales, customer service, shore operations), ship owning and finance teams.

You will maximize the business value of the digital product resulting from work done by cross functional teams across various locations operating in a lean agile product development environment. You are accountable for designing, building, and running digital journeys.

As a Product Owner we will guide and mentor you, ensuring you will make a fast growth in your career.

Responsibilities

• Own the digital products’ vision in collaboration with the necessary stakeholders.
• Prioritize the needs of the end users of the product.
• Manage and enrich the product backlog.
• Manage and run Scrum events in line with Agile methodology.
• Anticipate end user needs.
• Manage different stakeholders on day-to-day basis.
• Evaluate product progress.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in a traditional science subject, ideally computer science, engineering, or information systems OR a degree is supply chain/ logistics.
• 0-3 years’ experience.
• Experience or understanding of developing digital products from scratch and implementing new products in a digital environment.
• Experience or understanding of the customer experience design and user experience principles.
• Understanding of the basics of PnL.
• Understanding of the agile delivery principles and strong knowledge about scrum & agile lean delivery.
• Effective communication skills and excellent stakeholder management skills.
