- Set ambitious and clear Product vision and communicate to stakeholders, the team, and the organization to ensure vision and products align with business strategies.
- Create and manage the Product Backlog and the delegation of this work while remaining accountable for the outcomes. Work with stakeholders to adjust priorities and expectations to maximize the business value delivered.
- Utilize market and industry knowledge to translate user needs into user stories and acceptance criteria for the team.
- Prioritize and manage Product releases, be accountable for Product OKRs and status updates.
- Represent the Product in the Platform and DE Councils as needed.
- Act as an advocate for the business and client experience by owning issues and outcomes as they move the roadmap forward to completion.
- Work with other product managers and business partners in compliance, legal, IT, among others, to resolve product issues and to create a seamless integration.
- Work closely with the Platform Owner, Scrum Master and Technical Leads, maintain a good understanding of clients/users, their needs and pain points, and remain at the leading edge of existing market solutions and their components.
- Bachelor’s degree in technology or business.
- Minimum 2+ years working in an agile software delivery environment.
- Technical Knowledge, SDLC methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiar with automation frameworks (i.e. Jenkins) and deployment toolsets.
- Experience in agile development methodologies.
- Strong collaboration skills, working with teams and cross functional business units.
- Strong problem solving and communication skills to analyze options and arrive at the best solution while building strong relationships and influencing other stakeholders.
- Innovative thinking that can break down barriers and provide unique solutions.

We are looking for a motivated thought leader who will perform the role of Product Owner for the Data & Analytics Core Enablement Platform (DACE).

The Product Owner will work lock step with the Agile team to transform business concepts & ideas into digital solutions, and is accountable for achieving the desired business results, while ensuring efficiency, high quality, and intense client focus.

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance.
