Job Summary:
Responsible for enabling and enhancing Partners knowledge in a number of products (usually within an assortment) to support the delivery of an excellent customer experience and the achievement of sales targets.Job Description:

As Partners - members of the Partnership - it's our responsibility to ensure our success for the future. We proactively seek out opportunities to continuously improve the way we work, taking action to ensure the Partnership is efficient and we are all as productive as possible. It's an ethos each and every Partner works by and you'll carry into your own role too.
At the John Lewis Partnership we pride ourselves in providing excellent customer service. We'll rely on you to arm our Partners with the product knowledge they'll need to hook the customer and bag that sale!
Enhancing knowledge, inventing ways of delivering training and offering more experiential shopping experiences is what you'll thrive on.
Job Requirements:
You'll be passionate about service and sales, showing desire and drive to continue to learn and develop, in order to better support your team.
Your engaging and adaptable style will achieve results through others by way of increased sales, greater customer satisfaction and high Partner advocacy. You will be expert in identifying learning styles and adapting your approach to suit individual Partners as much as in the assortment. You will be a key advocate for the customer in more complex assortments by understanding the end to end journey as well as having a deep understanding of the wider context in which the product(s) exists.
Desirable experience skills and qualifications:
- Customer facing selling or service environment.
- Passion for product assortment.
- IT literate.
- External supplier management.
- Experience within product assortment.

Varied hours of full and part time work (up to 37.5 hours per week) across seven days to include early starts, late finishes, evenings and weekends.
