      Overview:

      The Home Delivery Payer solutions team provides leadership and strategic direction to support the development of new solutions tied to Express Scripts Home Delivery. This includes identifying client needs across multiple lines of business (commercial clients, health plans, Cigna, Medicare), developing proof of concepts, evaluating business cases, designing new solutions and bringing them to market. This team operates in a fast paced environment with significant opportunities to collaborate with multiple functions and businesses within Express Scripts and Evernorth businesses.

      Job Description:

      The Product Strategy Senior Advisor will have the opportunity to independently drive product initiatives that enhance the customer and client experience with Express Scripts Pharmacy. As new opportunities are identified the Senior Advisor will be responsible for helping to evaluate their feasibility and the development of business cases. As new solutions are designed this role will be responsible for working with technology partners to enable new functionality including front end and back end script processing, reporting systems and call centers. As products launch the senior advisor will help with the positioning, sales training, client targeting and reporting.

      Essential Functions:

      • Conduct market research and market scanning to identify client needs and potentially desirable capabilities to evaluate for future proof of concepts

      • Work in cross functional teams to explore and enable new product concepts

      • Supports efforts piloting solutions and custom product development

      • Ability to leverage reports and tools at Express Scripts – Extracts and comparisons of formulary, drug lists, CPC’s, pipeline reports, and various reports and financial/clinical models within the Analyst tool

      • Perform analysis of claims utilization including analysis of trend, most common indications, drug level market share, channel management, patient behavior, benchmarking, key performance indicators, etc.

      • Create visualization of insights, using graphs, charts, reporting and other visualization tools

      • Project manage deliverables to ensure milestones are hit and work is being done timely and on schedule

      Qualifications:

      • 5+ years of experience within healthcare / PBM industry

      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Advanced degree or MBA desirable

      • Experience in supply chain, regulated markets (Medicare / Medicaid) preferred

      • Understanding of PBM technology systems is a plus

      • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and ability to influence without authority

      • Ability to break down complex problems into their component parts

      • Ability to evaluate data and drive action to create additional value

      • Effectively communicate and collaborate with team to achieve team goals and support clients

      • Ability to work in ambiguous or new situations by demonstrating a structured approach to diagnosing the problem, analyzing alternatives, recommending and implementing best solutions
