General Job Duties:

• Adhere to all safety and health objectives, policies and procedures of IAC to provide for a safe and healthful workplace.
• To meet and maintain all customer quality standards as well as the standards of IAC.
• Meet or exceed daily production goals and departmental objectives as directed.
• Perform all assigned tasks per the SWI (standard work instructions), manufacturing alerts, safety alerts and quality alerts.
• Clean all assigned work areas after completion of the required work, return all tools to proper storage area at the end of the shift and report any malfunctioning equipment.
• To exhibit teamwork skills and actively participate in team activities in a positive working environment as well as work alone.
• Demonstrate problem solving skills in a work environment that is striving for continuous improvement.
• Follow Company policies and display conduct expected of IAC employees as described in the Shop Rules and Work Safety Rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Specific Job Duties:

• Safely produce a quality molded part per SWI
• Visually inspect all parts for molding defects.
• Trim parts for excess material and flash.
• Assemble product and identify quality characteristics.
• Responsible for grinding parts at press, when required.
• Safely operate assembly equipment.
• Produce a quality painted/assembled part per SWI.
• Pack and label parts per SWI.
• Maintain required quality standards.
• Correctly document scrap and production on production sheets and/or computer.
• Meet production requirements.
• Support the plant 5S activities.

Physical Requirements: This position requires a person to have the ability to perform work while standing or walking a minimum of eight (8) to twelve (12) hours a day, the ability to lift up to 15 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis, and the ability to perform work that is below the knees and above the shoulders on an occasional basis. This position also requires a person to be capable of performing sustained motion for a minimum of eight (8) to twelve (12) hours a day and capable of repetitive motion for up to four (4) hours. Must possess dexterity hand/eye coordination to perform the functions of the job. Must also have the ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season.

Hours of Work: Ability to work any shift, weekends and all scheduled overtime.
