What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review medical records thoroughly to abstract and code facility and physician professional services and diagnosis codes with a minimum of 98% accuracy
- Follow Official Coding Guidelines to assign appropriate ICD-10 CM and ICD-10 PCS codes and modifiers
- Provide documentation feedback to clients and account managers, maintaining coding reference information
- Collaborate with Patient Accounting and operational areas to assist in resolving incorrect claim issues
- Meet established minimum coding productivity and quality standards for each encounter type based on the type of service coded

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Required AHIMA or AAPC Certification
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare medical coding; Pro Fee experience required
- Advanced and proficient knowledge of ICD-10 CM and ICD-10 PCS
- Must have professional-level skills in MS products such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
