      About this Position:
      The Program Analyst is responsible for Honda’s administration and compliance for Workers’ Compensation, Leave of Absence, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, and ADAAA accommodations for an assigned geographical area.

      Responsibilities include:
      • Review, investigate, and administer newly filed workers’ compensation claims with Third Party Administrator (Accepts or Denies work comp claims)
      • Participates in AR investigations involving leave of absence matters
      • Evaluates Third Party Administrator’s short-term disability and leave of absence decisions, when necessary, to confirm adherence to program policies and procedures
      • Collaborate with HR and Medical on ADAAA matters
      • Appropriately applies settlement authority to resolve workers’ compensation claims
      • Reviews with local business partners an analysis of absence management data that is impacting their workforce and confirms understanding
      • Educates associates, management and HR contacts of absence management policies and procedures

      Who we are seeking:

      Required Work Experience:
      • 4 years of Absence Management experience is preferred

      Required Education:
      • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience

      Desired Skills:
      • Collaboration in a regional organization
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
      • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to successfully interface at all organizational levels
      • Intermediate conflict management skills & problem-solving skills
      • The ability to work independently to resolve absence management issues when identified
      • Critical Thinking
