What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and support planning and policy development for FoodShare and FSET programs, focusing on enrollment and outreach strategies
- Collaborate with DHS staff, contractors, and cross-agency stakeholders for effective policy implementation
- Develop and analyze policy recommendations and communications for internal and public use
- Facilitate partner engagement and ensure program compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Coordinate feedback and outreach efforts to improve public program access and experience

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong knowledge of FoodShare (SNAP), FSET, and Medicaid policy frameworks at state and federal levels
- Demonstrated experience in policy analysis, process improvement, and program coordination
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to write clearly and present information to diverse audiences
- Cultural competency and commitment to promoting health equity in public service programs
- Proven track record of collaborative work across departments and agencies in a policy or program analyst role

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in working with large-scale systems like CARES
- Previous involvement in public program modernization initiatives
