      Schedule:

      Hours and days are flexible depending on the student’s class schedule; however, there is an expectation for general availability for meetings/project work between normal business hours (M-F, 8:00 a.m.-4:30p.m.) unless approved otherwise. Schedule will be discussed during the interview process

      Qualifications:

      UW-Madison Undergraduate student with an interest in assisting staff in organizing continuing education courses for adults.

      Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

      Excellent oral and written communication skills
      Customer Service
      Problem Solving and decision making
      Multitasking and attention to detail
      Ability and willingness to be flexible and collaborative
      Ability to work independently with little oversight
      Knowledge of social Media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
      Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
      Proficiency in Google Workspace (G Suite)
      Experience with Zoom and Microsoft Teams helpful but not necessary
      Knowledge of or willingness to learn UW Specific Software: Canvas & Qualtrics
      Knowledge of Spanish or other language helpful, but not required


      Position Summary/Job Duties:

      Assist with organizing class modules/information in UW-Madison’s LMS Space (Canvas), to maintain files and pages, proof information/links and communicate with adult learners regarding their access, when necessary.
      Use Google Workspace (G Suite) to perform electronic filing. Establish folders and subfolders as needed and assist adult learners.
      Create, schedule, send and run reports for class evaluations using evaluation software.
      Assist in the coordination of marketing projects and initiatives as needed, including captioning of videos, proofing copy, etc.
      Depending on the future status of in-person Continuing Education courses, perform miscellaneous general office duties at 21 N. Park St. offices to include photocopying, assembling binders and program materials, etc.
