- Defining EO+T division governance standards, processes, forums, tools, and templates related to the identification, selection, monitoring, and evaluation of our division’s technology investments
- Ensuring the division’s technology investments are aligned with the business-led Technology Strategy
- Managing significant EO+T technology programs and projects on time and on budget
- Providing transparency into EO+T technology investment capabilities and cost
- Facilitating investment prioritization and downstream impacts to committed projects
- Providing tools, reporting, and guidance to track status and performance of EO+T technology initiatives
- Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple programs and projects, ensuring alignment with EO+T's goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement program and project management methodologies, standards, and best practices to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring clear communication and understanding of expectations.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may impact successful delivery.
- Manage resource allocation, budgeting, and scheduling to ensure programs and projects are completed on time and within budget.
- At least 10-12 years of project management experience
- At least 8-10 years of management and leadership experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, related field or equivalent work experience
- Solid grasp of IT delivery frameworks (e.g., Project lifecycle, SDLC, Agile, SAFe)
- Knowledge and experience applying project management principles and processes
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships and influence at all levels of an enterprise
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with senior leaders
- Ability to think strategically, evaluate options and make informed decisions
- Ability to handle several priorities and work within tight timeframes
- Relevant professional certification (e.g., PMP, SAFe, LPM) (PMP Required, others Preferred)
- Financial services / mortgage industry experience (Preferred)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, supporting their professional growth and development.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and the adoption of new technologies and processes.

Position Overview:
The Enterprise Operations and Technology (EO+T) Division drives high-profile, high-visibility technology projects and programs that enable the overall business and technology strategy, satisfy regulatory compliance requirements, and achieve risk or issue remediation objectives for Freddie Mac! Many efforts have enterprise-wide scope and scale and require coordination and collaboration across multiple divisions. Freddie Mac’s Portfolio Management Office (PMO) seeks a Senior Manager of Program Management to join our team in the McLean, VA location to provide leadership and direction over a technology project portfolio! As a PMO leader, you will be responsible for directing a team of project managers and driving these critical efforts to completion.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $150,000 - $226,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.About the company
