Job Title: Program Manager
Position Summary
Program Manager is responsible for the overall management of the programmatic, administrative, and operational systems
related to the provision of care and services; provision of regular and timely reports regarding operations, services, and finances;
establishing a respectful and supportive workplace environment; and problem solving to ensure effective operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Program Manager position may include the following, as well as other duties assigned:
• Perform all work in a manner consistent with the National Youth Advocate Program’s mission, values, and philosophies.
• Provide administration coordination for program contracts while aggressively seeking the growth and expansion in the
local market(s) through relationships with key stakeholders.
• Maintain compliance requirements on a monthly basis.
• Makes public appearances and presentations as requested.
• Responsible for program growth and development.
• Responsible to meet quarterly growth targets for number of foster homes and placements.
• Work collaboratively with other NYAP programs and staff throughout the organization.
• Sign off on all required reports as well as submitting the reports for processing according to agency.
• Submit regular reports to the National Director.
• Maintains ongoing contact with partner agency through personal visits, phone calls, and written communication to assure
that positive relationships exists and customer service needs are met.
• Directs continuous quality improvement efforts to assure that service quality and reporting meet contract requirements,
internally established measures and outcomes, and standards of regulatory bodies.
• Responsible for program operations including processes and procedures to ensure service quality and operational
efficiency.
• Responsible for fiscal outcomes of program.
• Perform all duties in accordance with personnel policies and the program’s fiscal guidelines.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Master’s degree in social work, or an equivalent degree in education, psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral
science degree or bachelor’s degree plus 5 years’ experience in child welfare administration, child protective services.
• A valid advanced professional license as required and acceptable by state or contract regulations.
• 5 years of relevant experience working with individuals served through the child welfare system.
• Must have a valid Driver’s license, reliable transportation, automotive insurance 100,000/300,000 bodily injury and a good driving record.
• Participates in on call schedule as needed.
• Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, internet search, people management programs, smartphones and
tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database
