- Leading project and/or program initiatives by analyzing processes and recommending changesfor more efficient coordination of operations
- Advising on the creation of efficiencies for business processes and productivity as well as the cost, feasibility and impact of different implementation solutions
- Planning and implementing project phases by developing charter, scope, resources and schedule for projects
- Fostering and maintaining positive relationships with senior management to gain approval for strategies and plans
- Developing and maintaining quality control procedures and standards for key data documented in the database systems
- Developing and editing standard operating procedures
- Liaising with vendors to coordinate services and resolve issues as well as coordinating vendor selection and negotiation processes for RFP
- Providing advice to departments and staff on admissions requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
- Six to seven years of progressive and related program or project management experience with a focus on operations and process improvements
- Experience working in co-op or work-integrated learning program setting required
- Supervisory or team lead experience with ability to lead operational workflows and process improvements
- Experience with CSM (Symplicity), ROSI, Degree Explorer or similar information systems and/or databases with the ability to develop and maintain quality control procedures and standards for key data recorded in these systems
- Strong project management skills with experience in planning and implementing project phases, including developing project charters, scopes, metrics, resources and schedules
- Proficient technical skills, including Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.) as well as Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to adjust to changing priorities and manage multifaceted, concurrent projects and tasks
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to facilitate consultations, presentations, and workshops and build stakeholder relationships
- Creative, self-directed, innovative, and results-oriented
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve department goals and also work independently to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision

- Experience with MS Project, Salesforce, Orbis, and HubSpot is considered an asset

Your opportunity:
We seek a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Program Manager, Co-op Operations. Under the supervision of the Assistant Director, Management Co-op, you will be pivotal in supporting and enhancing the cooperative program operations processes by setting operational goals and objectives and developing effective strategies to actualize objectives.
As the Program Manager, Co-op Operations, you will oversee the day-to-day activities of the operations team workflow which includes directing a small group of staff-appointed team members and assigning tasks and responsibilities. You will ensure that all operational activities related to co-op as well as the co-op job recruitment cycle for employers are performed in compliance with established policies, procedures, and standards to maintain quality and consistency in our operations. Additionally, you will track and report on key performance indicators, resource utilization and other valuable metrics that will inform future improvements that aim to enhance service delivery to our students.
