Job Description
- Req#: PROGR004101
- Directly support NETCOM G-6 in execution of IT project and support service initiatives. As Program Manager, manage all contract and government/military relationships. Provide oversight over all contractor actions and coordinate with other government/contracts personnel supporting NETCOM.
- The PM shall help manage projects, act as the liaison between contractor staff and the NETCOM G6 technical leads and serve as the lead management POC for the contractor to communicate issues and concerns in a comprehensive and timely manner to the Government. The candidate will be expected to follow up with the leaders of all service sectors to provide feedback on continuous improvement.
- Periodic spot-checks on timecards, ticket status and project statuses are also required.
- The PM is responsible for financial, contractual, project management, technical and security actions on behalf of the contractor.
- Late nights and odd shifts to include weekend work may be required.
- Support for the team’s actions always needs to be provided and guidance on proper leadership and management tactics are required for the other managers and project leads on the contract.
- Ensure deadlines are met and deliverables are submitted on-time is critical.
- Being responsive to the customer’s needs 24/7 is required.
- Lastly, being a team cheerleader and providing moral boosts when needed is expected. It’s a challenging environment to succeed in and the right attitude is critical to success.

- BA/BS Degree.
- 5+ years’ experience in IT Project/Program Management preferably within DoD.
- Must have a strong technical background to interact and communicate with the team and to provide meaningful updates to a technically savvy customer.
- Basic understanding and principals of cloud support, data management, and application modernization best practices.
- Operational focused mind-set and ability to understand complicated and nuanced problems
- Ability to create project plans, build ROMs and establish LOEs
- Familiarity with application and platform administration
- Familiarity with SharePoint Online (SPO)
- Familiarity with data management, data science
- Contractor site with 0%-10% travel possible. Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages. General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are not hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
- Sedentary – 10 lbs. Maximum lifting, occasional lift/carry of small articles. Some occasional walking or standing may be required. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

SUMMARY
The position helps provide Information Technology (IT) services supporting the United States Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM). Contractor support will primarily be required in the NETCOM Headquarters, subcommand organizations and other NETCOM supported locations, globally. The program involves IT support to NETCOM and NETCOM-supported organizations for Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN) hardware, software, data, applications, tools, and systems used by the Army. Organizations supported include the NETCOM Assistant Chief of Staff, G-6 with business operations, Cybersecurity, Knowledge Management Integration (KMI), Army Enterprise Service Ownership/Development, Capability Management, and Content Management requirements.Program Manager for an IT team in support of the NETCOM G6 customer.
