      Program Summary

      KBR’s Aviation & Ground Systems Directorate provides Systems Engineering & Integration support to the Army’s Aviation and Ground soldiers with project based and full-time personnel support services. KBR sets the standard with a wide range of services including Government Engineering, Logistics, Business, and International focuses, while ensuring customer satisfaction and providing excellence in contract deliverables.

      Job Summary

      The KBR is searching for an experienced Program Management applicant in Huntsville, AL to join our team. In this role, the successful applicant will be responsible for applying their knowledge and experience with Army project execution in support of multiple customers.

      Roles and Responsibilities:

      • Executes and manages complex program efforts in support of an Army Program Office and commercial customers
      • Assists in the management and execution of multiple programs for cost, schedule, and performance
      • Develops/enhances processes for preparation of and utilization of project plans, financial databases, and processes associated with the execution of prototype engineering and manufacturing projects
      • Collects, completes, manages, organizes, and interprets technical data and financial information relating to program execution.
      • Coordinates updates for program execution/delivery, fund status, availability, and in the development of forecasting reports.
      • Assists the Army customer in coordinating and briefing the customer on project information as well as assisting the Army customer in solutioning based on specified customer requests.
      • Develops program estimates for new business and manages cost expended against legacy budgets.
      • Maintains tracking techniques to monitor program execution, using existing information and reporting systems.
      • Manages contractual requirements to ensure successful contract performance for multiple contract vehicles.
      • Supports / Facilitates product and process improvements in support of maturing the organization and compliance with AS9100 processes.
      • Works with a team of multi discipline engineers, technical leads, and technicians in support of key customers.

      Basic Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years direct experience with Army program management with direct experience managing profit and loss.
      • Direct demonstrated experience managing aircraft and manufacturing projects for Army / DoD aviation.
      • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
      • Direct experience advising or managing Government compliancy requirements in execution of business
      • Must be located in Huntsville, AL
      • Secret Security Clearance is required
      • Some travel may be required

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Technical Master’s Degree
      • Experience with Army Rotary Wing technology insertion
      • Experience in Earned Value Management concepts
      • Knowledge of the H-60 platform
      • Knowledge of the CH-47 platform
      • Knowledge of DoD/US Army FMS/LOA policy guidance relating to all aspects of FMS case management or strong FMS financial background
