      Job Summary

      Program managers are responsible and accountable for the coordinated management of multiple, related projects directed toward strategic business and organizational objectives. These programs contain complex activities that may span functions and facilities. Program managers build credibility, establish rapport and maintain communication with stakeholders at multiple levels, including those external to the organization. The total well-being program manager will assist with assessing, planning, designing and implementing employee well-being programs. In addition, this position will assist with special projects related to the administration of the health and welfare benefit program. This position will organize educational opportunities on well-being programs and benefit plan offerings. This position will conduct and partner with other areas for system-wide well-being programs to develop programs indicative of a wellness culture, including such areas as financial wellness, food and nutrition, population health management, pharmacy, employee assistance program, as well as, other clinical service lines.

      Qualifications

      Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree required. Graduate Degree preferred.

      Experience: Minimum of five years experience in health and wellness required. Three or more years program management experience required. Health care experience preferred.

      Licensure/Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.

      Additional Skills/Requirements (required): Some knowledge or exposure of project management practices. Prior experience managing parts of a project or small sized projects preferred. Strong oral communication, listening and writing skills. Motivational skills to enhance program engagement. Demonstrated ability to facilitate changes to programs to reflect the changing needs of employees and diverse populations. Expertise in with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to analyze data to determine program effectiveness. Good relationship management skills that include good listening and consultative abilities, as well as, the ability to establish credible relationships with business partners to drive change. Able to work effectively on multiple assignments concurrently. Ability to recognize, handle and protect sensitive/confidential information. Ability to drive/travel to multiple facilities as needed for project assignments.

      Additional Skills/Requirements (preferred): Design, develop and manage project plans. Ability to facilitate and lead multi-disciplinary teams during project development and during the life-cycle of the project. Ensure adherence to compliance regulations. Ability to recognize and recommend project improvement tasks.
