- Partner with NDC, VM Leadership and Rack Leadership to support strategies and deliver on business needs to fuel sales.
- Understand marketing strategies and Store Environment standards for Nordstrom Rack.
- Own project delivery for all Store Environment projects in collaboration with NDC, VM and Beauty.
- Develop operational project planning with internal partner groups and identify critical project milestones.
- Ability to partner and communicate with internal and external partners to deliver the best outcome for all projects.
- Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, attention to detail and excellence in outcomes
- Providing clear roles, scope, timelines, and responsibilities to the project team through all phases of the project lifecycle, utilizing standardized project management tools and processes.
- Hold project team partners accountable to meeting project-related deadlines, with the ability to adapt to the needs of the business and offer flexibility when necessary.
- Define, implement, and improve processes and workflow for operational efficiencies
- Manage and communicate information about project status and changes in strategy, initiatives, standards, priorities, and resource allocation
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and create materials that effectively communicate insights to leadership and cross-functional partners, including transparency of progress, risks to achieving project goals and final recaps of project delivery wins and losses.

- Developing understanding of all Project Mgt tools and applications: Workfront, Filemaker, Coupa, Wordpress (Nordvm), Sharepoint and Smartsheet.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience and/or training in project management principle
- 2+ years’ experience in project management or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated analysis and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated negotiation and facilitation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, strong math skills, with the ability to quickly learn other applications as necessary
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated understanding of retail and the service environment of Nordstrom
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

Job Description
The VM Program Manager - Rack proactively supports projects and processes to deliver clear and concise programs that support Nordstrom Rack brand standards. The role includes contributing and overseeing project work, partnership with NDC, NMG and VM, to solve key business questions to drive recommendations and execution, and preparing communication material that ensure transparency of progress of delivery on short-term execution actions and long -term strategic plans. This role will serve as a point of contact for cross-functional team members to ensure information is collected and aligned, timely and accurately to drive business growth and to fuel sales.
