      Within the Communications & Infrastructure group, the programme delivery team is responsible for delivering programmes/projects across multiple countries and variety of technologies from Mobile, Broadband, Voice, CDN, Internet peering, Enterprise and Cloud infrastructure. We are looking for a seasoned Programme Director who has worked on complex digital programmes, with a focus on transformation. More specifically, you will be driving a multi-year transformation programme of data centre migration. The role will also involve looking at implementation of entreprise network strategy, and private cloud cost optimisation. The transformation programme will require to take into account the life cycle of our hardware and software (end of life initiatives).

      Successful candidates will have a technical program management and transformation background, be detail driven, and have experience in scaling up teams and managing virtual teams. You will have worked on large transformation programme, including complex service migrations. You will have strong interpersonal and leadership skills to motivate and inspire their teams to deliver maximum performance and achieve organisational objectives. You will be a passionate and proven leader with the ability to gain stakeholder buy-in, communicate confidently at both the executive and project team level, and collaborate with a wide range of technical and non-technical teams, regardless of geographical or organisational boundaries. You will be a natural problem solver with a cool head, that can deal with ambiguity and work autonomously to deliver results.

      What you'll do:

      • Take end-to-end ownership of Sky group Data Centre transformation execution, working with the existing Cloud & Infrastructure, Video, Telco delivery teams and internal customers such as CT&I, UKIS.
      • Leverage your programme management, technical, organisational, and transformation expertise to understand the business and strategic goals, translate them into an executable plan, and drive the implementation to success.
      • Analyse and drive cost efficiencies through the DC migration & transformation execution.
      • Execute necessary migration (services) from DC to DC
      • Develop and maintain effective working relationships at all levels from stakeholders to programme team members, including government organisations.
      • Ensure necessary governance and controls are in place to ensure successful delivery, demonstrate adherence to agreed time, cost, and quality deliverables.
      • Identify and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, forecast resources demand and prioritisation.
      • Compiling and writing progress reports and making clear presentations to management and other stakeholders, with emphasis on cost efficiencies
      • Lead & motivate the team, create a collaborate ‘can do’ environment.

      • In-depth understanding of programme management methods, key performance indicators and project evaluation methods, knowledge of data analysis and budgeting
      • A strong background across network technologies core and access, cloud computing (private & public cloud), data centres and entreprise networks.
      • Superior written and verbal communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to effectively deliver information at the C-suite/VP level
