      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Write and maintain application programs using higher-level languages and enterprise-class application development tools
      - Collaborate with GIS staff to integrate business and geospatial data
      - Test and debug applications to ensure they meet user requirements and operate correctly
      - Analyze user problems and operations to produce feasibility reports and design specifications
      - Conduct training for users on application functionality and maintain documentation for future enhancements

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent industry certification, or an Associate's Degree with 1 year of application development experience, or 2 years of application development experience
      - Knowledge of all phases of the software development life cycle and project development cycle
      - Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to engage with various stakeholders
      - Experience with Microsoft development languages, including VB.NET, C#.NET, ASP.NET, and Access VBA
      - Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, and Power Platform

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Exposure to GIS tools, preferably within the ESRI environment
      - Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub or Subversion
      - Ability to work both independently and as part of a remote technical team
