      Context

      As our Infrastructure Business Line is growing we are seeking experienced Project Controls Manager for our upcoming projects in Saudi Arabia. The Project Controls Manager – Is primarily responsible for the direction and management of the elements of project control including time, cost, resource and information management. He is also responsible for maintaining project plans and procedures, as well as providing effective management and support to the technical delivery and project management teams.

      Due to some of the location of these projects , we are seeking candidates who are interested to consider out of the city assignments.

      Main duties

      • Manages the setup and maintenance of the design delivery schedule, the cost management systems and technical procedural documents. He / she ensures project controls staff roles and responsibilities of each team member is well defined and reporting lines and communications are established. Responsible for successful delivery of the project in accordance with the scope of works from inception to final implementation including quality, time, cost and technical alignment with client sectors and procedures.
      • The incumbent will role model combined joint venture values, ethics and code of conduct and ensure all project delivery activities are carried out in accordance with these guiding principles.
      • Key responsibilities
      • Provide project controls management and governance of complex and large-scale projects to achieve reliable project performance in terms of commercial outcomes, design solutions, timeliness and quality.
      • Source, build and maintain strong and effective client relationships through successful project delivery and targeted activities.
      • Provide leadership and support to management team, engineering managers, leads and employees on the project to ensure project controls team delivery and staff cohesion, optimal performance, resourcing, retention and professional development.

      Technical skills

      • Has the demonstrated ability to consistently:
      • Succeed in a similar role, with typically, 15+ years of relevant experience.
      • Manage and direct major projects successfully to budget and client specifications.
      • Display experience in leading and coordination, design and delivery of projects within multi-disciplinary engineering projects.
      • Lead, manage, develop and assist in resourcing a team effectively
      • Build and maintain trusting and effective client relationships, and deliver excellent client service

      Personal qualities

      • Extensive project management and consulting skills, achieving prescribed budget, timeframe and client requirements
      • High level communication skills to advise and guide complex project design development in a proactive manner and to represent the company as a lead contributor to the project
      • Demonstrated knowledge of application of appropriate and relevant design codes, International, Local Regulatory Authority and client Guidelines and procedures.
      • Ability to identify the appropriate resourcing for projects
      • A desire to meet or exceed client expectations
      • Achievement of design excellence within time and budgetary constraints
