Job Description

- Take a leading role in providing governance support for key monthly meetings such as planning, scheduling, developing agendas, circulating papers, preparing talking points and drafting minutes
- Draft and review various types of briefs including, agendas, papers, Ministerial submissions and/or talking points in line with business requirements
- Under limited direction, manage contracts to enable the cost effective delivery of the goods and services required to support a program/s
- Produce high quality and fit-for purpose portfolio and program artefacts and reports such as dashboards, executive, financial, annual, freedom of information requests and ad hoc reports
- Establish and grow productive working relationships through day-to-day liaison with the program network. This includes influencing organisational behaviour through sound communication skills (writing, negotiation and verbal)
- Contribute to the identification and implementation of systems improvement initiatives.
- Project coordination experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- High level of proficiency in written, negotiation, and verbal communication, including the ability to create and modify targeted and complex messages to diverse audiences
- Highly organised with sound knowledge of digital transformation projects.
- Project Management experience, particularly agile and kanban
- Contract management experience
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Experience in using a variety of DevOps and collaboration tools.

The Digital Integration Office (DIO) engages across the ICT Division and with Home Affairs colleagues in assessing and matching business needs and supporting end-to-end program delivery. We provide program management for the delivery of transformative, complex digital programs that span multiple ICT branches, including coordination and oversight of program governance, reporting, and quality assurance functions.
The DIO also provides Workforce Change Leadership, supporting an uplift in Home Affairs' capability through agile ways of working via our Agile Transformation Team.

To be eligible for the position you must be an Australian Citizen.
