- Coordinate research and administrative activities, ensuring all projects are completed according to project/study timelines.
- Develop and administer policies and procedures according to protocol, IRB, grant/contract and Center specifications.
- Develop research materials which may include questionnaires, data collection instruments, and educational materials. Develop, review, edit, and revise administrative materials.
- Carry-out complex research assignments in support of project/study, requiring advanced related education and/or experience.
- Serve as project/study liaison, representing the project/study to other Center departments, funding sources, affiliated individuals or institutions, and outside organizations.
- Attend committee meetings, monitor activities to ensure objectives have been met within designated time frame, and coordinate follow-up activities.
- Coordinate grant/contract application and renewal process, writing portions of grants/contracts as required.
- Track study progress and and prepare reports.
- Assist in the analysis of project/study data.
- Supervise staff including hiring, training, evaluating performance, handling disciplinary action, layoff and termination issues.
- Coordinate the submission of study results, articles, and manuscripts for publication, writing portions of articles/manuscripts as required.
- Manage project/study database(s) and work with programmers in developing and upgrading database to ensure maximum effectiveness.
- Monitor project/study budget, ensuring that all financial allocations and expenditures are in accordance with grant/contract guidelines and regulations.
- Produce special and recurring reports.
- Performs other responsibilities as required.
- BA/BS in related field or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of three years post-master's or five years post-bachelor's project coordination experience in a research setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with community-based research.
- Experience working with AI/AN (American Indian/Alaska Native) communities.
- MA/MS degree or progression to advanced degree.
- Demonstrated experience administering cognitive assessments to study participants and scoring of assessments.

The Project Coordinator II coordinates research and administrative activities in support of a project or study, developing policies, procedures, research instruments and administrative materials, carrying-out complex research assignments and assisting in study implementation.
The incumbent reports to the Program Administrator or Principal Investigator and works independently in performing daily responsibilities, refering project/study issues on as necessary. Special skills and knowledge are applied in coordinating research and administrative activities, developing research and administrative materials, and in carrying-out complex research assignments. May supervise project/study staff.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $69,472 to $104,187, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
This role will have the opportunity to work partially at our campus and remotely.
This position is eligible for a sign on bonus and relocation assistance.
