We are looking for a Project Engineer for Plant Solution BL Delivery to join the team in Espoo, Finland. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage and coordinate our BL proprietary equipment deliveries, as part of the Plant delivery projects or independent equipment delivery projects. As Project Engineer, you will

• Act as the equipment package engineer in Plant delivery projects
• Lead and manage independently proprietary equipment delivery projects, taking care of customer interface, financial follow-up, invoicing and reporting
• Manage, plan and coordinate the equipment package engineering, technical purchasing and manufacturing according to the main project plan so that financial, time schedule and quality objectives, and also customer satisfaction, are achieved
• Working closely with our key suppliers, developing them and maintaining proactive communication with them
• Plan and arrange expediting and inspections
• Arrange supplier document reviews and acceptances
• Report monthly of equipment packages status to stakeholders (e.g. project manager)
• Support site work and, when needed, participate in supervision and commissioning
• Apply effectively Metso's Business processes and tools

To succeed, you will need

• Bachelor (B.Sc.) or Master (M.Sc.) degree in Mechanical engineering, Metallurgy or similar
• Experience in project work in customer delivery projects
• Experience in engineering is a benefit
• Ability to work under pressure and communicate assertively
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
• Good knowledge of common MS Office software, knowledge of SAP ERP and Enovia PDM is a benefit
• Good communication skills in Finnish and in English
• Strong team working skills
• Proactive mindset
• Willingness for worldwide travelling, typically short-term trips but there is a possibility to longer term assignments as well
