Maintains a robust understanding of safety requirements for all aspects of the site, including pre-planning, monitoring of construction activities and site conditions, and taking corrective actions to non-compliant work. Driving the Lendlease EHS initiatives daily with the trades/subcontractors.
Manage the performance and development of direct reports. Lead the conversation framework process and develop talent through on-going succession and development planning.
Leads the company’s diversity and inclusion, flexibility, innovation, and wellness initiatives to engage and retain top talent and establish Lendlease as an employer of choice.
Communicates company/regional strategy and how the financial decisions and commercial activities across the organization are interrelated and impact the ability to successfully deliver that strategy.
Understands how project value will be realized and ensures projects deliver to this. Leverages Lendlease core capabilities to provide a differentiated service. Identifies and pursues revenue generating opportunities for Lendlease.
Ultimate responsibility to ensure compliance and that all subcontracts are being managed within contractual terms across the business unit. Leverages direct reports and related stakeholders to achieve contractual compliance.
Collaborates to establish the design management process across the project. Understands the impact of current design-related issues on the overall project plan.
Leverages technical experts to help solve and mitigate future problems and enhance Lendlease’s reputation in the industry . Using well-developed relationships with authorities and specialty consultants, secures advanced resources when additional expertise is required.
Establishes trust-based relationships to leverage key stakeholders and internal/external experts to drive and enhance project and overall portfolio outcomes in a safe and cost effective manner. Leads the business by connecting peoples’ activities to strategic outcomes and deliverables.
Sequences multiple complex scheduling challenges in a logical manner. Ensures temporary works and safety risks associated with the construction methodology are documented and mitigated, where possible.
Drives implementation of project objectives , policies, procedures, and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy and meets customer, technical and commercial imperatives.
Effectively establishes successful projects through robust project planning. Ensures projects are set up with the necessary resources budgeted, scheduled, and implemented and ensures project success through ensuring the project ‘end sight’ is in mind through all stages of the project – from conception to finalization.
Understands the importance of timely and accurate project and business reporting, and ensures that all documentation required by Lendlease, stakeholders and the project team is available and correct. Takes personal accountability for project governance.
Ensures procedures and processes are executed to meet financial, schedule, and performance goals for the project.
During project execution, evaluate construction progress and quality of work to ensure projects are built on schedule, within budget, and adhering to quality standards. Identify and ensure corrective steps are acted on , if necessary, to mitigate deficiencies or minimize risk. Conducts monthly reviews of performance indicators to ensure business outcomes and key project goals and deadlines are achieved. Functions as an escalation point to resolve disputes and advise on complex crisis-related issues.
Ensures timely and accurate commercial and risk data management is conducted throughout project duration.
Ensures that an understanding of customers’ unique needs, requirements and values is communicated across the broader team.
Remains abreast of industry advancements in knowledge, technology and best practice and seeks opportunities to embed these advancements within the business.
Ensures that all staff within the business/region understand the ROAD (Risk and Opportunity at Design) process and embeds its use across all activities.
Identifies and implements strategies to improve customer satisfaction across the business/region.
Engages in difficult conversations or complex negotiations to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
4-year degree in an accredited industry related curriculum, or experience equivalent to a 4-year degree
At least 10 years’ experience in project management or at least Fifteen years’ industry related experience
Leadership experience and successful delivery of projects through the management of subordinate employees including performance management, career and succession planning and employee development
Demonstrated proficiency in estimating, scheduling, budgeting/cost control, field supervision, financial reporting, and client relationships
Prior success managing safety and insurance risks
Proficiency in basic computer applications and software such as MS Office and construction scheduling programs as used by the company
Ability to safely navigate conditions present at a construction site, including climbing ladders, cluttered areas, working in bad weather , hazardous areas, dark conditions, and maneuvering uneven surfaces etc. for the purpose of inspecting progress
Job Summary
Through the leadership and development of direct reports, the Project Executive i s primarily responsible for the successful execution of multiple medium to large projects to meet t ime and co st o bjective s with respect to contracting, scheduling, estimating, bidding and contract administration. Directs activities of others to complete the work on time, within the budget, and to the quality specified, while serving as the lead Lendlease representative. In the performance of this function, the Project Executive - MG is res ponsib le t o pro tec t an d promot e the interest of Lendlease in all matters.

General Background and Minimum Requirements
Base Salary Range: $ 212,000- $300,000
The above salary range represents Lendlease’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible base compensation range at the time of posting and is one part of the total rewards Lendlease provides to employees.
