Job scope
Responsible for working with Unit Order Processing within the Engineering/Project Management Department. To work closely with Unit Managers, Project Managers, Project Engineers, Designers, Sales Engineers, support staff, Representatives, Regional offices and clients. To provide required deliverables and to ensure accuracy, quality and safety while processing domestic and international orders for Engineering deliverables.
Responsibilities:
Provide Unit Managers and Project Managers support for Engineering deliverables.
- Create Project Folders.
- Working within SharePoint for drawings to submit and print (pdf) from Catia or AutoCad.
- Certify Engineering drawings for Approval/Final Certification based on back up supplied (see GSN).
- Send emails to Representatives, Regional Offices, Internal Colleagues and Clients containing Engineering Deliverables.
- Process Engineering Deliverables returned from Representatives, Regional Offices, Internal Colleagues and Clients and organize in files for timeline receipts.
- Communicate with all Engineering/Project Management team members regarding these returns and approvals.
- Assist Unit Management (UM) and Project Management (PM) to coordinate reschedule requirements per individual assigned orders, per direction.
- Create drawing tasks; or facilitate through design as required.
- Review and assist with daily/weekly E to 1 report per individually assigned UM/PM’s and assist with keeping them current.
- Maintain Unit Management SharePoint site per your individually assigned tasks and keep them current; assisting with your assigned UM/PM as required.
- Follow process and procedures and other critical requirements per order/deliverable requirements.
- Promote a "safety first" culture by continuous evaluation of work site for potential hazards or unsafe actions, use Personal Protective Equipment "PPE" appropriate to the site or work to be performed and report near misses, accidents or injuries (no matter the severity) and identify unsafe equipment/work per company guidelines or procedures.
- Perform special assignments and additional tasks as assigned.

Typical office environment:
Working at desk / computer. The noise level in the office work environment is usually quiet. Office working hours are 7:00am – 4:30pm M-TH, 7:00am – 3:30pm Friday (rotating Friday Off – A/B schedule) 80-hour work schedule bi-weekly.
