      Your role at Clorox:

      As a Cross-Functional Project Leader, you will be at the forefront of driving collaborative innovation across multiple teams. You'll serve as a vital link between diverse departments and upper management, guiding projects from inception to successful execution. Your role will be pivotal in adhering to timelines, budgets, and project objectives while fostering a culture of inclusivity, innovation, and accountability.

      In this role, you will:

      • Team Leadership: Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams spanning marketing, sales, engineering, R&D, supply chain, and other relevant departments. Champion inclusivity and diversity within teams to enhance creativity and problem-solving.
      • Project Management: Take charge from project initiation (charter) through to final execution (SOS). Utilize the FLIGHT Stage gate process to optimize project paths and ensure maximum value delivery for the business.
      • Communication and Liaison: Act as the primary liaison between general management leadership teams and project teams. Effectively communicate project status, challenges, and opportunities while ensuring clarity and alignment across all stakeholders.
      • Risk Management: Drive the development of risk assessment and contingency plans. Implement contingency strategies as required, challenging team assumptions for clarity and congruency.
      • Decision Facilitation: Encourage timely decision-making within leadership teams by presenting clear insights and fostering an environment conducive to prompt, informed choices.

      What we look for:

      Essential:

      • Leadership Experience: Minimum of 2 years leading projects or teams, showcasing strong business and project leadership skills.
      • Effective Communication: Excellent communication and active listening skills to engage diverse teams and stakeholders effectively.
      • Self-Direction and Accountability: Assertive yet diplomatic, capable of managing relationships across hierarchies, and holding others accountable without direct authority.

      Desirable:

      • Functional Knowledge: Broad understanding across Legal, Regulatory, Manufacturing, R&D, Finance and Accounting, and Marketing, fostering comprehensive project perspectives.
      • Industry Experience: Preferably in Consumer Packaged Goods, with a demonstrated ability to navigate diverse industry landscapes.
      • Project Management Expertise: Familiarity with stage gate processes and project management best practices. Certification or professional training in project management is highly desirable.

Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

      Zone A: $104,100 - $199,100
      Zone B: $95,500 - $183,300
      Zone C: $86,800 - $166,600

      This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
