What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and support daily operations of the clinic, ensuring efficient clinic flow
- Lead the development and enforcement of policies and procedures within the clinic
- Collaborate with advanced practice nurses to manage clinic schedules and patient appointments
- Participate in community outreach and health fair events to promote clinic services
- Co-author research publications and reports related to clinic outcomes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master of Science Degree in Nursing required
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a healthcare management and leadership role required
- Current and unencumbered Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Certification and Licensure as a Registered Nurse required
- Current California Furnishing number, NPI, and DEA registration number required
- National and state board certification as a nurse practitioner from an approved organization required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Doctoral degree in healthcare or a related field preferred
- Evidence of performing in a nurse faculty position preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail preferred
- Experience with electronic health record systems
