What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with stakeholders in city or county government, law enforcement, and behavioral health sectors
- Plan and lead policy-focused meetings with high-ranking officials and national experts
- Develop written products such as policy briefs and research memos to inform policymakers
- Create technical assistance tools and resources to support effective crisis response initiatives
- Supervise 1-4 full-time Policy Analysts and contribute to strategic planning discussions

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Six years of policy design, analysis, and implementation experience in behavioral health, criminal justice, or related fields
- Excellent research, writing, and editing skills alongside strong critical and strategic thinking abilities
- Experience supervising full-time staff in a professional environment
- Knowledge of behavioral health and criminal justice policy at state and local levels
- Strong oral communication skills and the ability to present complex information concisely
