- Project Planning & Coordination:
- Collect, analyze, and summarize information on project phases, tasks, duration, resources, and costs.
- Develop project plans, work breakdown structures, schedules, budgets, and resource assignments for management approval.
- Define project scope and manage changes to scope while maintaining alignment with stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
- Act as the liaison among internal and external stakeholders, business units, and project teams to ensure effective coordination.
- Facilitate communication across teams to expedite processes and resolve issues.
- Schedule and lead meetings on project status, issue resolution, and deliverables review.
- Project Execution:
- Define and monitor specific project deliverables, ensuring they meet quality criteria and deadlines.
- Develop time estimates, build schedules, and address scheduling conflicts.
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues, providing alternative solutions when necessary.
- Manage project security assessments to ensure approval before Go-Live.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare and distribute comprehensive project plans and status reports for upper management.
- Collaborate with key project members to document and gain approval for requirements, milestones, and risk management plans.
- Maintain project risk management plans and ensure proper documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Risk Management:
- Identify, quantify, and develop responses for risks that may impact project timelines, scope, or budget.
- Implement proactive measures to mitigate potential risks and ensure project success.
- Experience & Skills:
- 8+ years of project management experience, with 3+ years specializing in Cybersecurity or Information Security projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, including Agile and related software (e.g., MS Project, Excel, Visio, Jira).
- In-depth understanding of Cybersecurity, IT, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
- Proven experience managing IT infrastructure or information security projects.
- Proficiency in preparing functional and technical documentation, and in handling risk management processes.
- Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification preferred.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards such as GDPR, CCPA, or PCI-DSS.
- Strong ability to navigate organizational complexities and remove delivery roadblocks.
