- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules for an assigned portfolio of projects, defining key deliverables based on the scope of post launch customer projects. Have advanced knowledge in creating, reporting on and maintaining project schedules.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers by proactively managing expectations, ensuring timely communication, and addressing any concerns to foster trust and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead projects with a customer-centric approach, ensuring deliverables align with customer goals and contributing to a seamless and positive customer experience.
- Coordinate and manage Jira tickets to ensure timely resolution of customer-reported issues and project milestones.
- Track project progress, identify risks using Alkami's risk management system, and work with internal and external stakeholders to implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Create and manage detailed project documentation, including meeting agendas, minutes, and other necessary reports.
- Regularly communicate project status, issues, and risks to both internal and external stakeholders to maintain transparency and project alignment.
- Work closely with the customer and vendors to gather configuration settings, validate those settings, and monitor progress on any identified gap items.
- Drive collaboration to obtain results between cross functional teams such as Product Development, Customer Success, Technical Consulting, Technical Implementation, Engineering, and Customer Support (amongst many other internal organizations) in order to deliver project outcomes, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned on project goals and timelines.
- Monitor product development activities, track sprints, release schedules and provide regular updates to customers, internal teams, and management.
- Ensure alignment of project objectives with both business goals and customer expectations, focusing on customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct customer meetings to drive project execution, provide updates, and address any issues that may arise post-launch.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management methodologies within the PSO.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in at least one functional area the PSO and maintain up-to-date project documentation in Confluence. Contribute to creating and updating internal documentation, processes, and best practices, supporting cross-functional teams and enhancing the overall project execution experience for the company.
- Receive post project customer surveys where clients provide feedback on performance, project management skills, empathy, product knowledge, communication skills, with results used to assess and improve in future engagements
- Manage multiple, concurrent projects across various product lines and features, demonstrating the ability to handle different project types and complexities while maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction. Project Managers handle more quantity and complex projects when compared to Associate Project Managers
- Collaborate on process improvement initiatives, support company-wide efforts to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence beyond direct project management responsibilities.
- Be a backup for other team members when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Proven ability to manage a portfolio of multiple projects, with a strong focus on delivering within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey project updates and risks to stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with great attention to detail.
- Capable of working independently with minimal direction while excelling in a collaborative, team oriented environment.
- Experienced in managing project tickets, backlogs, and client-reported issues.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project, Excel, and Word, as well as Google Suite tools such as Calendar, Mail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Meet. Also adept at using communication tools like Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom.

- Builds productive internal and external working relationships to resolve mutual issues by collaborating on procedures or transactions. Focuses on providing standard professional advice and preparing initial reports and analyses for review by experienced team professionals.
- Sufficient familiarity with basic project management principles and terminology, enabling effective communication and collaboration.
- Ability to perform most project management tasks autonomously in standard situations.
- Working knowledge of SQL is beneficial.
